STORY OF THE LEGENDARY LOCH NESS MONSTER
The Loch Ness Monster is one of the world’s great mysteries. It is a legendary animal that is said to have lived in the deep, black waters of Loch Ness, near the city of Inverness in Scotland, since 565 AD. Also known as Nessie, it is supposedly an enormous lizard-like sea creature with a neck as long as a giraffe’s, large flippers, and gobbles up people with a single bite. However, this was never proven, although many in the past claimed that various members of their families had disappeared near the lake.
George Spicer and his wife, who described it as a dragon, were the first to see the monster in 1933. The fear generated by this dangerous and threatening creature for them was so great that they offered to the person who managed to catch it. Several ventured to navigate the lake and explore its depths using cameras, microphones, and submarines but failed to find it.
Since 1940 and up to now, many people have published photographs and videos of the monster, but many of these photos are retouched, false, or have a scientific explanation.
Today many are convinced that the Loch Ness monster does not exist and that it has only been a figment of the imagination. However, occasionally someone says that they have seen it in the lake and that it is a Jurassic reptile, while others claim that it is neither a monster nor a dinosaur but a giant eel.
Nowadays, no scientists have found proof of Nessi’s existence, and while something strange is happening in the loch, most people prefer to believe it’s just a Scottish legend.
