In a world where love knows no bounds and power hides in unexpected places, we embark on a whimsical journey into the enchanting realm of mice. Welcome to “Whiskers of Destiny,” a delightful tale that unveils the captivating search for the perfect suitor for the most beautiful mouse in the world. Join us as we witness the comical encounters, surprising revelations, and heartwarming moments that unfold within the cozy confines of a house, a tall wall, and the mystical presence of the sun, cloud, wind, and unassuming Wall.

Setting: A cardboard house, a tall wall, the sun, and a cloud.

(Gossipy Girl 1 and 2 enter.)

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 1: I heard that Mr. and Mrs. Mouse’s daughter is incredibly beautiful.

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 2: She’s the most stunning girl in the world!

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 1: Is it true that every mouse on earth wants to marry her?

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 2: Yes, indeed!

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 1: Sadly, her parents don’t approve of anyone.

(They exit. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse enter.)

MRS. MOUSE: Whom should we choose to marry our daughter? We don’t like any of the suitors. Nobody seems good enough for her!

MR. MOUSE: You’re absolutely right. One mouse has a large tail, another one lacks teeth, and then there’s one who is too fat. We cannot let her marry any of them. They are just so unappealing!

MRS. MOUSE: Our daughter deserves to marry the most powerful mouse in the world.

MR. MOUSE: The most powerful is the Sun!

(The Sun enters.)

MRS. MOUSE: (in a sweet voice) Mr. Sun, we have a beautiful daughter. She is the most exquisite mouse in the world, and you are the most powerful. You deserve her!

MR. MOUSE AND MRS. MOUSE: We want you to marry her!

SUN: I’m not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Cloud.

MR. MOUSE AND MRS. MOUSE: The Cloud?

SUN: Yes, the Cloud covers me.

(The Cloud enters and covers the Sun. The Sun disappears.)

MR. MOUSE: Hey, Cloud! We’ve seen you cry so many times. Do you cry because you feel lonely?

CLOUD: No, I cry to help plants grow.

MRS. MOUSE: You possess great power, and you deserve to marry our daughter.

MR. MOUSE: She is the most beautiful mouse on earth!

CLOUD: No, I’m not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Wind.

MR. MOUSE AND MRS. MOUSE: The Wind?

CLOUD: Yes, the wind blows me. (The wind blows and whistles) Listen! Here it comes! Oh, it’s pushing me!

(The Wind enters. The Cloud disappears. The Wind walks around the stage, and the mice follow.)

MR. MOUSE AND MRS. MOUSE: Mr. Wind! Mr. Wind! Stop!

(The Wind stops blowing.)

WIND: What do you want? I’m in a hurry!

MR. MOUSE: Would you like to marry our daughter? She is the most beautiful mouse in the world!

MRS. MOUSE: You are the most powerful. You deserve her!

WIND: I am not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Wall.

MR. MOUSE AND MRS. MOUSE: The Wall?

WIND: Yes, the Wall stops me. The Wall doesn’t let me pass.

(The Wind leaves, whistling and attempting to destroy the Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse stumble due to the wind’s force.)

MR. MOUSE: (getting up) We have to talk to the Wall.  (Yelling) Mr. Wall! Mr. Wall!

MRS. MOUSE: He can’t hear you. He’s old and deaf.

MR. MOUSE AND MRS. MOUSE: Mr. Wall! Mr. Wall!

WALL: What do you want?

MR. MOUSE: (yelling) Would you like to marry the most beautiful girl in the world?

WALL: Me? Are you mistaken? I’m too old.

MRS. MOUSE: No, no! We want you to marry our daughter!

WALL: Me? Why?

MR. MOUSE: Because you are the most powerful.

WALL: Me, the most powerful? Ha, ha, ha, ha! I’m full of holes. The most powerful is the mouse who made them.

MR. MOUSE AND MRS. MOUSE: The Mouse?

(Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse look at each other and seem ashamed. The Young Boy Mouse enters from behind the Wall.)

YOUNG BOY MOUSE: You are the parents of the most beautiful girl in the world. I want to marry her. We have been in love for a very long time.

MR. MOUSE: Oh, but where will you live?

YOUNG BOY MOUSE: In this old Wall. I have been building a house with many rooms. It has a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. It is very comfortable!

MR. MOUSE: Yes! Yes! You will marry our daughter because you are the most powerful in the world.

MRS. MOUSE: More powerful than the sun, the cloud, the wind, and the wall.

(The Girl Mouse enters, hugs and kisses the young boy mouse. Gossipy Girl 1 and 2 enter.)

GOSSIPY GIRL 1 AND 2: We wish you the best!

(They all hug the happy couple. They sing and dance.)

In the end, it is not the mighty Sun, the billowing Cloud, or the forceful Wind who proves to be the most powerful suitor for the radiant Girl Mouse. Instead, it is a humble Young Boy Mouse who captures the hearts of Mr. and Mrs. Mouse. As their daughter embraces true love, the gossipy mice rejoice, showering the happy couple with their good wishes. With laughter, song, and dance, the whimsical tale of “Whiskers of Destiny” comes to a close, reminding us that true power lies not in external forces but in the profound connections we forge with one another.

So, dear audience, as you bid farewell to this charming tale, may it leave you with a warm smile and a renewed belief in the magic that can be found within even the tiniest of creatures. After all, love and destiny have a way of intertwining in the most unexpected and delightful ways, whisking us away on adventures that fill our hearts with joy and enchantment.
