NARRATOR: The witch Abbie was angry because she couldn’t find her magic comb.  She looked in the closet, and under the bed, while she cried, and cried.

ABBIE: Where did I put it?.  I have to comb my silver and golden hair!.  Did I put it inside a jar?.  No, I don’t think so!.

NARRATOR: She opened the drawers, and shoe boxes, and she kept crying and crying. Knock, knock, knock, someone knocked at the door, she looked through the window, and smiled when she saw Emma.

ABBIE:  Emma, what are you doing here?.

EMMA: Aunt Abbie, I brought you some chocolates.

NARRATOR:  Then she went down the stairs wiping her tears, and when she opened the door, Emma went straight to the kitchen.

EMMA: Give me a cookie, please.  I’m so hungry!.

ABBIE: Take it from that cookie jar.

NARRATOR:  But instead of a cookie, Emma took out the magic comb from the jar.

EMMA: Oh, look what I found!.

ABBIE:  It’s my magic comb!.

EMMA:  I have to go auntie, I have a lot of homework to do, and it´s almost eight o´clock!.

ABBIE: Thanks for the chocolates sweety!.

NARRATOR:  Emma left in a hurry, then the witch went up the stairs to her room. She stood near the window, and as she combed her silver and golden hair, the moon and thousands of stars came out of her hair and filled the dark sky; and they remained there watching over people’s  dreams, until the sun rose again.
