UGLY DUCK: Oh,  I’m no longer a dark, gray, clumsy, and ugly duck.  How I’ve changed!  I hardly recognize myself!.

SWAN 1, 2, 3:  You’re a swan, just like us!.

NARRATOR:  Some little children playing in the lake, saw him and said.

CHILD 1:  There’s a new swan in the lake!.

CHILD 2:  He’s young and graceful!.

CHILD 3:  He’s the most beautiful of all!.

UGLY DUCK:   I never dreamed of such happiness!.  My family hated me,  and my friends humiliated me, and now I’m the most beautiful white swan.  I am no more an ugly duck!.
