How to Motivate Your Child to Write
Writing is an important skill that everyone should have, especially those working in the professional world. It is an ability that essentially transfers the point of view, idea and mindset of a person (on an object) into “word for word”. In short, writing is very important to learn and should be taught from an early age. The problem is, not all children love writing and some of them just hate this activity. How to motivate them to learn to write or even learn from English tutor. This short article will give you some points important to consider:

Teach that writing is essentially the same as drawing
Most children prefer to draw rather than write. You need to convince them that writing has the same essence as drawing; transferring ideas into their physical form. By providing that understanding, your children will understand that by writing they basically draw their ideas but in verbatim.

Do not limit them to common topics
Many parents limit the topic of writing to their children on topics like Disneyland, the animal world, beautiful tales and things like that. By limiting the topic, we will unconsciously reduce their writing motivation because anyone who writes without coercion will want to transfer whatever comes to mind in writing. This is a basic principle so free them to choose the topic they want.

Use interesting stationery
Many children are attracted by colorful colors. It is therefore important for us to facilitate it. Provide your children with colored writing materials such as markers, crayons, pencils and even brushes and paint. By giving them books they like, they will be encouraged to read more. They will read without coercion because they love the topics presented in the books. It is normal that almost all children dislike activity under pressure, including when they are writing. Do not let writing is a kind of work to do. Make this activity more like a play activity. The world of children is a world of play and if they think writing is part of the game then they will be motivated to write by themselves.
