SCRIPT:
(There’s a storm and thunder. Kathy and Liz are watching T.V. in the living room. Rex the dog is sleeping on the sofa)
Kathy: I’m scared.
Liz: Me too… I don’t like storms.
Kathy: Why did mom and dad have to go to that dinner party!
Liz: I hope they come home soon.
(There’s lightning. Liz looks at the window)
Liz: I have the feeling that someone is watching us.
Kathy: Come on Liz… don’t try to scare me.
Liz: I’m not trying to scare you. I can feel it.
(There is lightning. Liz sees a woman’s face on the window)
Liz: Look over there…outside the window…there’s a woman looking at us!
Katy: A woman? In this weather!
Liz: You have to believe me! She was wearing a black dress!
Kathy: Maybe it’s our neighbor… remember that her daughter died last week. I’ll go open the door.
Liz: No! don’t open the door! It wasn’t our neighbor… It was somebody else.
(Lightning strikes. Liz sees the woman’s face once again. She points at the window)
Liz: There she is! I saw her again… and I don’t know who she is!
(Kathy stands up and goes to the window).
Kathy: I don’t see anybody.
(There’s lightning)
Liz: Kathy.
Kathy: What, now!
Liz: She’s here!
(Kathy turns around)
Kathy: What do you mean she’s here?
Liz: Here… with us.
Kathy: Where?
(Kathy and Liz see a woman dressed in black inside the room. They scream)
Kathy and Liz: Ahhhhhhh!
(Rex, the dog jumps from the sofa. Lightining strikes. The dog barks at the woman. The phone rings. Kathy answers).
Kathy: Help! Help!
(There’s no answer)
Liz: Who is it?… give me the phone!
Kathy: They hung up.
(Kathy hangs up the phone. They look at the woman. The woman is not in the room)
Kathy: Where is she? A minute ago she was there!
Liz: I think it was only our imagination.
Kathy: Maybe you’re right.
(They look at the dog. The dog has the woman’s hand in his mouth. They scream).
Kathy and Liz: Haaaaa!
Liz: Rex!
Kathy: It wasn’t our imagination after all.
